Who is the secret one inside us?
I searched but
could not find the answer
Not in the high mountain ashram, or in silent prayer of the stained glass chapel
I stumbled into the synagogue and hid veiled in the mosque
but still, no answer
refuge in the meetings of our bodies
and listened to the midnite call of the coyote
The little man in India just smiled and shook his head
find the ONE
I did not eat for days and then I ate too much..
I sat in tortured silence and I ran
The moon and the sun held no answers; they only sat in stubborn stillness
and the battering of rain only whispered rain songs
I took a breath
There IT was...
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.
